You help us end the effects of the abuse suffered by every child who walks through our door!
Families are never charged for any services provided by Dearing House. Funding is primarily through a contract with the State of Oklahoma and other grants, but your donations fill in the gap and ensure that Dearing House is able to continue providing services to families as well as the extensive professional development provided to law enforcement, prosecutors and social workers. We rely on local donations to fill our cabinets with snacks and to keep Sonic cards on hand so we can help hungry kids who need a meal or an ice cream cone. Or a child victim may need specialized services out of town which presents a hardship for the parents, so we have gas cards on hand. You make this happen! All donations to this non-profit 501(c)3 are tax-deductible. Thank you for helping us hear, help and heal victims of child abuse!
Needed Donations
With your donations of physical supplies, more funding and focus is able to go directly to helping children. It's vital that children feel welcomed and supported when they arrive at Dearing House, so everyone is welcomed with drinks and snacks. Chocolate and meals for the team are also helpful when staff, law enforcement officers and social workers start to feel the stress of the very difficult situations they are investigating and offering services for. Are the fish bitin'? Are you ready to sign up as a team or sponsor for the 12th annual FISH FRY FOR THE SMALL FRY at beautiful Standing Bear Park? It's a fabulous fun family event with great food, kids games, live music and beautiful Oklahoma weather (fingers crossed)! Tickets are sold at the event for all you can eat, and because we value children so much, kids under age 4 eat free with their grownups. Looking forward to seeing you Fry-day June 19! Serving begins at 6:00 p.m. until the food runs out!
